Eberhard Schorsch (30 December 1935 – 14 November 1991) was a German physician, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, author and sexologist. He was closely associated and regularly published with German researchers Volkmar Sigusch and Gunter Schmidt.

From 1970 until his death, Schorsch was director of the Institute for Sexual Research, Sexual Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). In teaching and research, Schorsch published research on pedophilia and people who were accused or convicted of crimes against sexual self-determination (known as 'sex offenders' or specifically 'child sex offenders' in US/UK discourse). He was also chairman of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sexualforschung [EN: German Society for Sexual Research] (DGfS) from 1982 to 1985, and co-founder and editor of the Zeitschrift für Sexualforschung [EN: Journal for Sexual Research] since 1988. He died in 1991, in Hamburg.

In a 1972 publication led by Dutch sexual psychologist Dr. Frits Bernard, Schorsch argued that sexual contact between minors and older people was harmless if it was consensual (mutually willing) and did not involve force. Bernard published the study Sex met kinderen (Sex with Children), which he carried out on behalf of the Dutch Association for Sexual Reform NVSH (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Seksuele Hervorming), and in which he argued for the harmlessness of mutually willing, non-violent sexual contacts between children and adults. In the same issue, Schorsch argued such sexual contacts between children and adults were harmless under the condition of “consensus" - i.e. a non-hostile / tolerant or accepting society which does not expose romantic/sexual partners to secondary / iatrogenic harm.

In his biography of historical Left-wing anarchist MAP Peter Schult, Prof. Florian Mildenberger quoted Schorsch as writing: "A healthy child in an intact environment processes non-violent sexual experiences without negative long-term consequences."[1]
