Systemic Sexual Harassment

Systemic Sexual Harassment (SSH) is the deliberate and sometimes co-ordinated harassment of an individual, their public legacy, or the beneficiaries of their estate, by threatening or invoking sustained legal action over complaints of sexual abuse or related offences. The motivators for Systemic Sexual Harassers can be financial, personal (i.e. retribution, family pride), fame or publicity, or even mental disturbance/fantasism. The accusations may be false, or have some grounding in reality. In the latter case, accusations often arise years later - for example, when the harasser or their accomplices reads a news story or is contacted by a law enforcement agent or journalist trawling for complainants to bolster the case for the prosecution/federal agencies. High profile (and high net-worth) individuals are often victims of SSH - sometimes choosing to settle out of court for large financial sums. Complainants may be one-time, or serial (pattern) harassers, but always use their presumed victimhood to deflect questioning by defense lawyers and shift the burden of proof. The manipulative use of sex-shame and "sexual victimhood" discourse against a person or their family qualifies this behavior as a form of sexual harassment.

Very often (and even when prosecutions fail), Systemic Sexual Harassers are not identified due to legal confidentiality/immunity regulations and social taboos around disbelieving accusers and holding them accountable for lying. Since there is often little downside for harassers (they are often straw men, with nothing to lose), this problem persists in an age marked by rampant social media and fast-spreading rumors.

Systemic Sexual Harassment is different to the many well publicized cases of "calling out" or "shaming" over sex allegations in mainstream and social media. However, complainants are often urged to pursue the accused through the legal system, which may result (depending on the veracity/nature of the accusations), in a case of systemic harassment.

Victims

There are many high-profile victims of SSH, and even more - less well known examples. On some occasions, we have seen benign community pederasts who harmlessly befriended boys over the course of decades, destroyed by violent and homophobic family members who forced their teenage sons to testify upon discovering their relations. The lack of a victim and vengeful abuse of the system, marks such cases out as prime examples of harassment.

We list just a few of the higher-profile examples which made the news:

Found guilty - SSH pattern indicated

• Rolf Harris - Accusations were inconsistent, massively delayed and concerned voluntary, low-level sex acts. Financial incentive, one conviction now overturned and doubt cast upon others prior to his death.
• Bill Cosby - Pursuit of an individual who was most likely sexually promiscuous - variety of events outside of Statute of Limitations - trawling and financial incentives heavily indicated.

Stuart Hall and Max Clifford were victims of public historic trawling operations motivated by money and publicity, following the Savile Scandal below.

• Jerry Sandusky - Penn State sports coach who may or may not have been a pederast or bisexual. "Inappropriate horseplay" blown out of all proportion following a politically corrupted and biased investigation. "No questions asked" compensation fund promoted in order to viralize the trawling effect.

Not guilty - SSH confirmed

• Erwin Schrödinger - Nobel prize winning physicist who was defamed in 2022, over misleading claims and omission/censorship of information, leading to the Irish university associated with him taking symbolic steps to cut ties with his legacy.
• Paul Gambaccini - Held under suspicion - state trawling operation had successfully found harassers. No charges.
• Cliff Richard - As per above.

Posthumous estate and compensation harassment

• Michael Jackson
• Jimmy Savile - Highly promiscuous celebrity engaged in voluntary activities with his fans (of varying ages, some underage). Posthumous estate trolling by harassers, and subsequent publicity storm - leading to a government inquiry and legal "scheme" for predetermined compensation packages involving the NHS/BBC and then Savile's own estate. Lawyers were said to have frequently made more money than the accusers. In reality, it was impossible to determine how many of the 450 claims had merit after the bait had been laid, but even after an incredibly low bar was set for accusers, a majority of them were found to be patently false.
• Helmut Kentler - State of Berlin used as cash cow, political party involved.
