The End of a Pedophile Relation

In this file we want to discuss the end of a pedophile relation. This end seems to be one of the main problems of such a relation, because (different to other types of sexual relation) there is a well-defined end of the relation.

If the child becomes adult, the sexual interest of the pedophile decreases. This leads usually to the end of the sexual relationship. There are four major possibilities for the end:

End caused by discovery and persecution.
End initiated by the adult.
End initiated by the child.
No end of the relation, transformation into a non-sexual friendship.

An abrupt end, caused by the pedophile or by the persecution, may be harmful for the minor.
