Outing by Persecution
In the process of persecution of consensual sexual relations between an
adult and a child, the following necessarily becomes open:
- The sexual techiques which have been used.
- The consent of the child to these techniques.
Knowing this, anyone can make conclusions about the most private things of
the child - it's sexual orientation and it's sexual desires.
Such an outing without the consent of the child can cause much more
harm to the child than everything else.
Especially boys involved in man/boy relations may be harmed by anti-gay
prejudices. Even if the boys are heterosexual, the public opinion
(especially age-mates) often treats them as gay. For example, as the result
of harassment after such an outing, Jamie
Nabozny has tried to kill himself.
Please ask yourself what will be more harmful for you:
- To be involved (consensually) into some nonstandard (perverse)
sexual experience (which you may even dislike later, with feelings of
shame, disgust etc.)
- To read your name connected with this event later in the
newspaper.
Do you think that for a child it will be different? Why?
The only possibility to avoid this danger is to observe the right
of informational
self-determination of the child.
