Ethics and Child Prostitution
Here we consider ethical arguments for and against prostitution.
The other ethical question connected with prostitution, the boundary
between gifts as a natural part of a loveful
relation and prostitution, will be discussed separately.
Prostitution without the consent of the child we also
do not discuss here. It is outside of any ethical discussion, facts
about such relations we collect in the
prostitution directory. Thus, we consider here relations there the
consent of the child is required and the child has the control over
the money.
Remark at first that prostitution is not the ideal for the
pedophile. It is only a bad substitute. Many pedophiles are strongly
opposite to prostitution and will never make sex with prostitutes
because of ethical and other reasons and arguments:
- There is no "real consent" of the child - it does not like the
sex, it makes sex only for money.
- Sex for money is harmful for the child. A child prostitute becomes
involved with drugs and criminality and ends in jail.
- Veneral diseases (AIDS) are more distributed among prostitutes.
- Sex with prostitutes is much more "dirty".
- Positive outcomes for the child often connected with other forms
of pedosexual relation are possible for prostitution.
- The sexual reason: The lust of the child is too essential for
the lust of the pedophile to make sex with a prostitute which does not
really want to make sex.
- If you have to pay for having sex, that means to have sex with
you is not desirable. Not very nice for your self-esteem.
But there are also pedophiles considering sex with prostitutes as
a possibility for their sexual life, and they also have
arguments. Like every other argument in favour of pedophilia, these
arguments may be misused for (self-)justification by people doing
wrong to children. But, on the other hand, simply to ignore these
arguments is also hypocrisy:
- If the children don't have the possibility to make sex for
money, they have to do things they dislike much more, or which are
really much worse:
- working in factories.
- starving.
- living in institutions.
- living in a home/family there they are not welcome.
- becoming criminal.
- A relation of a pedophile with a runaway boy may start as
prostitution and later turn into a relation without money for sex, but
giving the boy a home and education. At least, this may be the
intention of the pedophile at the start of the relation.
- Getting money can show the child that sex with him it is really
desirable, and can even increase his self-esteem.
- Among peers, to love to have sex with men may be forbidden, but
to make it for monay not. Children which like it may use the fact of
"getting money" as a justification.
In reality, the main argument for pedophiles to have sex with
prostitutes is not very ethical, but powerful - their own security. To
have sex with prostitutes is simply much safer, especially in the
Third World - prostitutes don't talk about sex to their parents, and,
even if detected, a relation with a prostitute will be punished not so
much, and the chance that the court "doesn't believe" the prostitute
is higher. This is one of the worst "side effects" of the AOC laws.
