Sex With Children is Unnatural
Some people consider sex with children as wrong because it is
unnatural. The nonsense of this argumentation may be shown
considering the results of
ethnographical research and about the behavior of animals. But even
without such results, this is not a sufficient argument. What means
"unnatural"? Who defines what is unnatural? Aren't where many other
unnatural things people do?
One argument states simply that such sex is intrinsically wrong. It is
unnatural from a biological and psychological point of view. As
evidence, such an argument would cite such facts as the following:
- A little gir's vagina is too small to accept a mature male's
penis.
- The thought of such relation inspires an innate disgust in many
people.
- Almost all societies either taboo or tighly regulate sexual
contact between the mature and immature
However, this argument against sex between adults and children is too
categorical. It does not make reference to any more general ethical
notions that would give this prohibition meaning. Many assertions of
"intrinsic wrong" made about other sexual behavior, such as
homosexuality or masturbation, have been called into question in
recent years.
