There seems to be no other domain of knowledge with so much emotional discussion, with so strong prejudices and so much hate, like sexual relations between adults and children. It may be the "worst case" for a fair discussion. Like everybody, I have my own prejudices. But remark the following points:
Even if I hate your opinions, I give you the possibility to include them into the PRD. And I try to make fair links to your data.
Thus, if you consider some of the data you find in the PRD as wrong or even dangerous, please write me. It is in the interest of the reader, who can make incorrect decisions on this base, with, may be, fatal consequences for himself and others.
To reject the pro-pedophile position only on the base that many of the proponents of this position are pedophile is unjustified. The question is not if a scientist has an own opinion about the matter or own prejudices, but if s/he acknowledges his bias and if/how s/he tries to avoid an influence of his bias on the research.
The manager of the PRD, Mike, has pedophile feelings. His position is pro-pedophile. You will feel this in many of his comments.
It is also strongly against sexual abuse. But I do not accept that every sexual relation is necessarily abuse. Moreover, I consider the interrogation of children about their sexual life against their will as sexual abuse.
Nonetheless, the PRD already contains a lot of material from people who are more or less biased against pedophilia.
