Let the Children...: Pedophilia as a Pretext for a Witch Hunt (Lasciate che i bimbi...: 'pedofilia' un pretesto per la caccia alle streghe) is a 1997 copyright-free Italian book critical of the child sex hysteria, published under the open identity Luther Blissett. The book is divided into two main parts: an account of Italy's satanic ritual abuse scare, and an appendix (by various identified authors) debunking the idea that adult-child sex is universally negative and suggesting alternative legislation. It was dedicated to "Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997), member of North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA)."

In 1998, Lucia Musti, a prosecutor of satanic ritual abuse cases, sued the book's publisher (Castelvecchi Edizioni) and two Internet service providers, claiming "character assassination" and a "misuse of the right of critique." The court ruled entirely in her favour in 2001, and ordered that all copies be destroyed and compensation of 80 million lira (about $50 thousand USD) be paid to Musti.
