"Child porn increases the incidence of child sex abuse".

The evidence suggests otherwise. In fact, the presence of any kind of relationship is unclear, due to limitations in the amount of and scope of research. One may theorise however, that porn in general is a 'substitute for action', and that if it does normalise any kind of behaviour, it would be in line with the behaviour expressed in the pornography. Thus, most normalising effects, if they do exist, would tend to be towards uncoerced sex - overwhelmingly common in child porn that depicts physical interaction.

Despite the burden of proof being on those who claim that a relation does exist, research will help in justifying claims to the contrary.
