American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC) is an organization started by David Corwin to enhance its member's ability to respond to allegations of child abuse.

The main page of their website (as of 09 March, 2009) states: "The American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children is a national organization whose mission is to enhance the ability of professionals to respond to children and families affected by abuse and violence. APSAC tries to fulfill this mission in a number of ways, most notably through providing education and other sources of information to professionals who work in the child maltreatment and related fields."

APSAC produces five publications available to members and nonmembers. These include The APSAC Advisor, the Child Maltreatment Journal (a quartly journal), The APSAC Handbook on Child Maltreatment, APSAC Code of Ethics and the APSAC Glossary of Terms.

APSAC currently has chapters in nine states: California, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
