Expulsion of organizations marked as pedophile from ILGA

In 1994 at the New York conference ILGA members voted 214-30 to expel NAMBLA and the two other "pedophile" organizations they knew about (Project Truth and Vereniging Martijn). They passed a resolution stating that "Groups or associations whose main objective is to promote or support pedophilia are not compatible with the future development of ILGA."

This was a condition to get the consultative status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
